Raised in a traditional Italian family, Robert Mondavi understood that good food and good wine shared around the communal table is one of life’s great pleasures.  In 1979 he founded the Woodbridge Winery with a vision to create delicious, smooth wines that enrich everyday experiences.  Today, the clean, fruit-driven, approachable wines of Woodbridge by Robert Mondavi are the centerpiece of countless gatherings of family and friends.

SELECT VINEYARD SERIES —
We hand craft our Select Vineyard Series wines to express the unique character and complexity of our best grapes, creating wines with big, bold, concentrated flavors that linger on the palate. We use techniques like extended grape skin contact and aging for over a year in small American and French oak barrels to coax out the personality and story of each grape.

Available exclusively at our visitor center and for our Heritage Wine Club members, our Winemaker's Selection wines are limited bottlings of unusual grape varieties that celebrate Lodi's rich winemaking history and showcase the best of the region.
