Finishing Recipes for a Party
When entertaining, it’s sometimes a challenge to stay organized and finish dishes that have been started ahead of time once guests arrive. To eliminate the need to pull out the recipes themselves in the rush of finishing a dish and getting dinner on the table, try this tip (which also allows friends to help out easily). Write the remaining recipe instructions on a label or piece of masking tape and stick it to the container holding the dish to be finished. For instance, for lasagna, the note might read: “Bake covered for 15 minutes at 375 o, remove foil, bake 25 minutes longer.”
